FAQ for guests staying at La Ferme de Wolphus

Is there a minimum stay?
2 nights minimum in Gites and one night in the Bed and Breakfast rooms

What payment methods options do you offer?
Réglement in species, French cheque, transfer banquaire and Paypal on our website

Do I have to pay a deposit?
one installment of 25% with the reservation and the balance on arrival

Do I need to supply bed linen & towels?
Pillows and bed linen are supplied for B n B accommodation
towels are charged a separate fee for Gite accommodation upon arrival

What is included in the price?
BnB accommodation includes breakfast
Gite accommodation does not include any meals

Is there off road parking?
Yes there is a private parking area that is lit with automatic light sensors for your safety

What if I have to leave early in the morning?
breakfast is between 8am and 9.30am, If you need to leave before 7am breakfast is unavailable however it is possible to have breakfast between 7am and 8am with prior arrangement made at time of booking.

Is there a time to depart by?
BnB Rooms do not have a vacate time imposed but the Gites are to be vacated by 10am

Do you give group discounts?
no

Is the price all inclusive of heating and taxes?
BnB accommodation prices are all inclusive
Gite accommodation has a winter fee for heating, taxes are not included

How do I make a reservation?
You may use our online enquiry form to make a date that we will confirm for you please click here
Or you may phone us and make a booking
Alternatively you may email or post your reservation through to us. Confirmation will be sent with a request for deposit to be made online. Gites will have a leasing agreement sent to you with the request of deposit.

Do you confirm my booking?
Yes we confirm all bookings so please check that your email address is correct. If you haven't received your confirmation in 24 hours please get in contact with us again. We also send by mail your confirmation and if a deposit has not been made a request will be sent for this also.

What if I have to cancel my booking?
If you wish to cancel your reservation you can do so minimum 1 month before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel your reservation after this period, the room is re-let then we will refund your deposit If it is not re-let you will not be refunded.

What is the difference between gite and bnb?
BnB accommodation has breakfast served each morning, free use of microwave and coffee facilities and shares toilet facilities.
Gite accommodation has it's own kitchen so you prepare all of your own meals, bathroom and toilet facilities are contained within the Gite, you are entirely independent

Can I bring a pet?

In Gites it is possible for a small calm animal but is not possible to let outside as we have our animals in freedom or semi-freedom: hens, peacocks, pigeons, geese, ducks, turkeys, sheep, ponies....

Can I smoke in the rooms?
There is no smoking in the BnB rooms but you may do so outside, ashtrays are supplied for this area.
In the Gites it is tolerated.
